Dear Friends,

This coming Sunday October 10th, we will have our Fall Meeting of the Anson Baptist Association at Lilesville Baptist Church!  I am looking forward to this opportunity to fellowship, worship and deal with a little associational business with you! We are all so busy, that is hard to find times when we can all gather together for worship and fellowship.

Please note:

  • Because of Covid, we will not serve a meal this year, but Lilesville has graciously volunteered to provide some simple refreshments.

  • Masks are encouraged but not mandatory.

  • Everyone is invited to attend, but only church elected messengers can vote on business.

  • Every church is encouraged to have at least 3 messengers! Churches with 51-150 resident church members can have 4 messengers; 151-250 can have 5 messengers; 251-350 can have 6. Please see the bi-laws for churches with more than 350 resident church members.

This year we have:

  • Asked churches to share pictures of mission activities or another important even in the life of their church during the last 12 months to include in a PowerPoint presentation.  Has your church contributed a picture? It is not too late!

  • Planned mission testimonies from several of our churches.

  • Planned times for you to meet with some of the ministry representatives from some of our Baptist partners and other Christian ministries from our county.

  • Invited a great speaker, Dr. Chuck Register, with the Baptist State Convention of NC!

Our schedule is:

4:00 Early arrivals are encouraged to visit with visiting ministry representatives in the social hall.

4:30- 5:30 Session One

5:30 - 5:55 Break and time to visit various ministry tables and their representatives & Refreshments

6:00 - 7:00 Session Two. Message: Dr. Chuck Register guest speaker

This week is our Anson Baptist Association Week of Prayer, so please pray for our ministry together and for our meeting on Sunday!

I hope to see you there!

Serving with Joy!

David
